Incredible hidden gem of Schaumburg. Outstanding food, service, and beer. Give it a shot, you wont be disappointed.

Nice Polish good experience and helpful staff if you aren't sure what to get.

Went there with a friend for dinner, was decently busy. We sat at the bar. It took about 20 minutes for a server to come take our drink orders. Then another 15 minutes to come back with the drinks and made it seem like it was a bother to get our food orders. The food was excellent. But throughout the entire meal, not once did either of the bartenders check on us for drink refills. They were busy playing on their phone to change the music every 2 minutes or chatting with their regulars/friends. Took probably another 45 minutes before they came by with the checks. What would've been an hour long meal normally, took over 3 hours. This place used to be great, shame about the terrible service

Very small and popular restaurant. It was clean and everyone there seemed to be having a good time and enjoying the food. I'm not a fan of Polish food, but was willing to try it because my friends say its fabulous. So, they really really loved the food. They know authentic Polish. I didn't care much for the flavor, but everything was served hot and attractively plated. Next time I go, I'll order a salad or chicken as they also have non Polish selections.The served beer, wine and hard liquor. Pleasant staff. Ez parking. No reservation!

A bit of an oddity. Big plates, good beer selection, even better food, unique theme. The club next door (owned by the same folks, I assume) made the server attire bit random, but the food is excellent, and the staff is attentive.

Food & service is great. Family friendly with fair prices and good size portions. Definitely coming back again.

This spot is superb and broad, the meals was yummy and the rates were very economical. quickly, efficient service and very affable staff members. Will definitely recommend this spot.

The food here is delicious ! You can feel as in Poland since almost everyone is from there. Don’t forget to try the local beer.

We went there yesterday (Jan.4) the weitres in blond, long hair, in black leather dress was the worst weitres we ever had at Bacowka. She messed up our order 4 times and did not checked on us. Instead that she was drinking shots with people at the bar. One of our friends did not get his meal at all. She was mad when we told her that she messed up our orders. I do not recommend this place. The service was very bad.

Great Polish food and the service is excellent!!!

First time eating here, fantastic Polish food. Tried the pork hock, it was a delicious mini mountain of meat. The braised cabbage that came with it was a perfect accompaniment. A great meal for a cold winter day.

This place is amazing! I never had a stuffed cabbage so tender with elegantly spiced meat! Excellent service 👍! The price was right! Great atmosphere!

The place is smaller but still very roomy. Very cozy. Great selection of food. The wait staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable about the food. Food is delicious and homemade. One of the better polish restaurant in the area. They also had a great beer selection! I will definitely be back!

Food taste NASTY!!!! WORSE I EVER HAD. ZERO STARS.. DO NOT EAT HERE.. SAVE YOUR SELF.. MCDONALD'S IS EVEN BETTER THAN THEIR FOOD.

One the best places in the country to serv polish food for real

Nice and tasty food but had to ask for salt and pepper shakers also bread not served with butter or lard which makes big difference.

Everything I've ever tried here is delicious and well prepared. Service is great despite what other reviewers say. Reminds me of my great grandma's dishes, old world food made from real ingredients the right way. Very, very highly recommend. This is my go to spot for polish food and drink.

This is the best polish food I've ever eaten. We ordered a sample platter, and we loved everything. Since it was our first time there, the waitress gave us each a shot of lemon vodka, which was completely amazing. We almost bought a bottle. The atmosphere was very nice (it reminded me a little of a Texas Roadhouse), the waitress was very friendly, attentive, and helpful.

For me, personally, this place is awesome! I'm not of Polish descent but this is "my kind of food"! I LOVE the decor, all light stained wood, antler chandeliers, cow skin backs on the booths. the seating was nice and spacious. they dont pack you in, which is nice. the wait staff/hostesses/bartenders (a group a very talented ladies) are a bunch of do-it-all dynamos! Service was fast, and polite. the food was delicious. and everything was priced very reasonably for what you got. 10/10. will go again, even tho my fiance didnt like the spread they offer for the bread plate. but it's a polish specialty! Thank you guys so much!

I frequent this special place once a month because I love the special air that is part of this place. The staff is awfuly loyal and skilfull. The service is awfully fast. Not to mention, the food they prepare is exceptionaly good. I frequent many times and I was always delighted. The rate is decent. I recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

Absolutely wonderful dinner experience. It was like a quick trip to Disney World - the decor reminded me of Gaston's hunting lodge, and the delicious dinner was like a lap round Epcot.We enjoyed the kielbasa, pierogis and goulash, along with an order of the smoked cheese with cranberry sauce. The goulash was incredible - the pork was fork-tender and yet juicy, sauce was rich but didn't overpower the dish, and the potato pancake bed helping give the whole dish a strong base. I loved every bite. Servers were very polite and ensured my family (including 11 month old baby) were able to enjoy our dinner. The speed of service was a little slower than usual, but I felt that the staff were letting us take our time and eat at a comfortable pace (rather than rushing us); I never felt ignored or forgotten by our server.Looking forward to our next visit - I am very happy to recommend Bacowka if you're looking for a satisfying Polish meal!

I constantly arrive buying some food in this spot. I liked the swift customer service and well cooked dishes. They never disappoint.

Generous portions of very good food. Everything is fresh and tasty. Meant to take a picture but when served we just dug in. Love the beet salad. Vegetables that came with the salmon were cooked just right. Beautiful wood paneled walls. Glad they expanded from previous small space. Very popular and was busy in a Friday evening.

Excellent food. The potato pancakes were very good, you could taste the onion in them..yum! Perogies were also good and they provided plenty of sour cream upon request..will definately be back for more!

Being a first generation immigrant that came here from Poland and missing the food always, I’m glad I found this place. Food is true to home and just like babcia used to make. Definitely a must!

All their food is top notch. Staff is super friendly. Definitely a place to check out for great food for a great price.

I love this place. They have amazing food. My favourite are the meat pierogis and the white borscht reminds me of my childhood growing up and helping my dad cook. Has a very home made taste and the meal keeps you filled for a long time.

Great traditional Polish food, speak the language, no issues in English. Really family friendly. This place is awesome!

First time and I enjoyed the food, outside dining, and the overall energy. Julia was, kind, attentive, and enjoyed serving us. The food is authentic, like I remember as a kid when babcia would make dinner. I had the mushroom soup (so delicious) and the pork shoulder - very tender and flavorful. This place is 👍 good! Food is amazing. We ordered the stuffed fried chicken (similar to Kiev) and a breaded chicken with cheese and mushrooms. Entrees came with a side of salad also. Which included yummy cucumber salad. We also ordered pierogis! Blueberry was so good and was served with a special sweet creme sauce. Yum. For dessert a giant belgian waffle topped with fruit and tons of whip cream.It was really good tho! The decor is amazing and the back of the booths are covered in cow hide. Super country and rustic feeling restaurant. Polish music is played throughout and of course many beautiful polish speaking waitresses. Only down fall was the fact that service was very very very slow. Despite that it was good. This place is alsp very busy. I suggest going before peak lunch or dinner hours. Then you wont have to wait for a table.

Very traditional polish food. The service was OK, not great, but the good was all really good. Lots of options and the staff seemed very knowledgeable about what was in each dish and how it was prepared.

I've been going to Bacowka for over a year now and each visit has been great! The service is friendly and swift, great food and beer options, the mountain cabin decor is really charming and most importantly, the food is delicious! Make sure you come with an appetite though, these are some serious Polish portions!

First time at this restaurant but it will not be our last. We tried the Sampler Platter which had a little bit of several dishes. Super delicious cheese perogies, braised cabbage, and cabbage rolls. Lived the atmosphere of the restaurant.
